1stalia or Un'Istalia is a right-wing environmentalist party in Istalia. The party was founded by several dissidents of the Radical Alliance, who believed the AR was not ideologically right enough. However, it was only after a heated fight in 4478 about the course the Istalian democracy should take that finally pushed the dissapointed AR members over the edge. In 4478, the party was founded as the Alternativa Verde or Green Alternative, but eventually after the 4484 General Elections the party changed it's name to Un'Istalia in order to appeal to a larger public.
One of the main reasons of its foundation was the desire under liberals and right wing voters to support environmentalist policies without having to support left wing parties as well. Also high on the agenda of the AV is the privatisation of the public sector, including healthcare, culture and infrastructure. At last, the strives to reform Istalia in a presidential republic, to give the directly elected president more influence, and therefore giving more power back to the people. The last point was also the main reason for founders Alexandro Faccio and Mariane Vittoriano to leave the opposing AR and start their own party.
