The 2352 Jakanian Revolution was a popular uprising in Jakania against the rule of Deltaria. The primary centre of the uprising was the city of Diyarıvakan.

Events[]

On 5 February 2352, a group of around 250,000 armed citizens organised through Ahmadi networks launched an coordinated armed assault against Deltarian imperial buildings including government offices and police stations. The regime was caught by surprise and the Jakanian rebels established roadblocks across major highways. By the time the regime was able to call for direct Deltarian support on 7 February, much of the country's territory was already controlled by Jakanian rebel forces.

Deltarian troops crossed the Jakanian border but were slowed by climactic conditions that restricted their effectiveness. Jakanian rebels had already begun destroying major bridges in an attempt to sabotage the Deltarian advance. By this time the Jakanian Resistance Front was founded and gaining widespread popular support. At the beginning of March, they had formal control of most of the country.

During April the inevitably of Jakanian victory was becoming clear to the Deltarian regime and the monetary and human cost of the conflict was mounting. Despite domestic support for the conflict, Deltarian forces began a coordinated withdrawal from Jakanian territory. By June the remaining Deltarian loyalists had been eliminated and the Jakanian Theocracy was proclaimed, in a controversial move by Resistance leaders.
