The Summer Olympic Games of 2943, officially known as the Games of the I Olympiad was a major international multi-sport event that took place in Williamsbrough, Luthori, from June 22nd to July 8th, 2943.


Candidate CitiesEdit

The bidding process for the for the right to host the first Olympic games held since 2200 featured 5 cities across Terra. The first city nominated and eventual winner, was Williamsbrough in Luthori. Early on, Williamsbrough garnered support from many nations and was seen as the favorite. The 4 other cities announced were Kien, Thorgerd, Royalsborough and Telapolis.

Medal TableEdit

Athletes from 15 countries won medals, 6 of which won gold medals while 31 participating countries did not win a medal. Athletes from Luthori won 2 gold medals, the most of any nation at these Olympics and ended up in a tie with Aloria for the total amount of medals won. Even though a total of 46 nations participated in the event some of the nations sent delegations to compete in all of the contested sports while most simply sent delegations to compete in just one or two events.
