This was the first elected government since the foundation of GDR Lodamun, set to succeed the transitional government headed by Richard Orman. It received unanimous support from the 1st Presidium. In Lodamun, the entire cabinet (including the President) is elected by the Presidium by a simple 300/599 majority vote, but can be sacked and replaced at any time.
Despite the fact that Jherane Batnassan was the leader of the Social Anarchist Party, the party put James Martin as its presidential candidate.
