The 4644 Luthorian Parliamentary Election was an early election held in 4644 with all 600 seats in the Imperial Diet up for election.
This election is described as "surprising" and "historical".
The far-right HLC makes its best results and becomes the first party.
The election also sees the fall of 3 parties of the Hopkins I Cabinet.
The CPL gains just over ten percent of the votes and becomes for the first time the 7th party.
The LDP also sees a big decline (-6%).
And White Rose falls under 5 %.
A new party, the Conservative Party gains over 10 % of the votes for its first election and is even the first party in Middenriding. Strongly anti-secular, the rise of the party is seen as a response to growth of the religious fundamentalist movement represented by the HLC and the Pope Brandon II.
Context[]
The Hopkins I Cabinet, which comprised of the CPL, LDP, SDP and White Rose governed for 4 years. The cabinet focused mainly on socially progressive reforms.
