The 4780 Likatonian general election was an election held to elect the President of Likatonia and 100 members of the Likatonian Senate. The election marked the end of the 25th Senate. This election was a snap election and was called because of the dissolution of the IRP.

In the presidential election, former president Graham Church from The Moderates was victorios over Aaron Hayes from the Communist Socialist Union. This party was very similar to the IRP so it makes sense that the party got into the second round. In the Senate, all the three unrepresented parties gained seats and became some of the largest parties in Likatonia. The CMA also gained seats, becoming the second largest party. This mostly came from Mod, IPP and LNP supporters.

Context Edit

In the previous Senate, the Hart I cabinet was formed. This government made sure that the liberal laws were maintained and that AWP and CSU proposals were striked down.

Government Formation Edit

After this election, the far-left lost seats to the monarchist right, with the center having the same number of seats. In this election, Labour Party was recreated after being dissolved for few yeart. On contrary with last elections, far-left vote had gone to two parties instead of one. After the election the centerist parties hoped that a deal with the CMA could be reached again to form another centrist cabinet, headed by Lab called the Norton cabinet.
