The 4797 Luthorian parliamentary election was held on December 17th to election all 350 members of the Imperial Diet of Luthori. At the same time, took place the 4797 Luthorian imperatorial election.

Context Edit

The previous election saw the victory of the Right Coalition with 39.60 % of the votes.

Marcus Weston Cabinets Edit

The coalition formed the Marcus Weston I Cabinet with the LDL and HPL.

However, during the coalition was unstable. Meanwhile, the GFU shifted to the right, which lead to the Marcus Weston II Cabinet. These cabinets pursued the policies of the right/far-right.

Enlargement of the Right Coalition Edit

The GFU and HPL decided to join the Right Coalition before the election. The coalition was therefore running against five socially liberal parties.

Creation of the Social Democrats Edit

A new center-left party was created one year ahead of the election: the Social Democrats.
