The 4951 Likatonian state elections were elections held to elect 75 deputies of each of the five State Parliament.
In the election all states but East Bolton had a left wing majority. In East Bolton though there was a left wing pluarlity and a strong showing from the centrists which meant that a left-centre government could be formed. Popular Unity managed to become the largest party 94 seats, nearly doubling its total. It kept 2 govenorships and surprisingly won a majority in Pirland. The Democrats came second with 80 seats and 3 govenorships. This was a great result for the democrats as they lost all of their govenorships in the last election. The DCP came 3rd with 59 seats which was twice as many seats the party whilst the CLP lost 39 of their seats to go from 1st to 4th.
In the last election the conservative CLP became the largest party, won two governerships and even got a majority in East Bolton. The Democrats managed to keep second place but lost all of their govenorships. Even though this happened the Democrats managed to become minority coalition partners in 3 states. Popular Unity came 3rd and won 2 govenorships and surprisingly the PRP won a govenorship too. The CLP also propsed new education laws which allowed private businesses and grammar schools into the educatio system. This only passed in East Bolton and Madison, where the CLP were part of the government.
