The 5013 Luthorian parliamentary election was an election for the Imperial Diet of Luthori. All 300 members were elected on the 4th of November 5013.

This election has been described as a political revolution, due to the dramatic increase in the number of voters, as well as the defeat of the government leading to the victory of the opposition.

It was won by the White Rose, a right-wing to far-right monarchist party, which gained over 40% of the votes. The far-left Bloc also saw a huge increase in its vote share, becoming the second party and gaining 27% of the votes.

The member parties of the second cabinet of Eva Longham all lost many seats, except for the SDPP which managed to slightly increase its vote share.

The LPP fell sharply below 3% of the vote, winning only six seats.

Context[]

Unstable majority[]

The previous cabinet had a one-seat majority and the opposition managed to pass a reactionary bill with the abstention of some MPs. This tainted the credibility of the cabinet of Eva Longham.

Dissolution of the ICA[]

The Independant Conservative Association was dissolved in 5013 due to internal conflicts and left many seats vacant. The Diet subsequently voted for an early election to take place in November 5013
