Amelioratism is a branch of Abjurant Hosianism dominant in Dundorf and Saridan. The major modern churches, the Confessional Ameliorate Church of Dundorf and the Restored Ameliorate Church of Saridan broke with the Holy Apostolic Hosian Church of Terra in the 16th century but differ from other Abjurant and Bishopal denominations on a number of theological issues. In addition there is a diverse range of theological traditions within Amelioratism, especially between the faith as practiced in Saridan and in other parts of the world.
