The Archonic Union of Politeia (AUP) was a major party in Sekowo.
History[]
The AUP is Sekowo's oldest non-contiguous party, being originally founded in the late twenty-fourth century (2388).
Throughout the years the party has disbanded several times, usually coming back into existence at some point within seventy years of disbanding.
First Incarnation[]
The first and original incarnation (2388-2499) of the AUP was, as its name suggest based on the ideals of Archonism as well as Aretism and Panterranism.
The AUP lead the country into the dark days of the Aretic age as the only party in Sekowo. After three decades of harsh rule however the one-party state lead by the AUP began to fail, seen by the first civil war and massive internal strife. The parties initial incarnation came to an end following the beginning of the modern era as the party abandoned much, though not all, of its past ideologies.
Second Incarnation[]
The second incarnation (2561-2601) of the AUP saw the party completely dropping its original ideology and adopting a moderate Libertarian approach to the issues.
Third Incarnation[]
The third and current (2621-2675) incarnation of the party has seen the progression of ideological change in the party as the party has moved further towards Libertarianism.
Ideology[]
The ideology of the AUP has changed over time, originally espousing the tenants of Archonism and Aretism, the parties later incarnations have adopted a mixture of Libertarianism and Pan-Dovani policies.
