PoliticsEdit

Native InhabitantsEdit

The only extant native culture that exists within Argos are the Kli'kut.

This has lead to certain areas being recognized as sovereign Kli'kut land, mostly in the South-East.

Most Kli'kut live harmoniously among the Sekowan settlers and many choose to marry into Sekowan families for wealth and harmony.

ColonizationEdit

The colonization of the region that is modern day Argos started in 2455 and ended in 2463.

Argos is one of the most important territories of for Sekowo due to it's vast fertile farmland and it's geophysical location as the entry point for nearly all cargo and goods from the other three territories, Cho'kun in particular.

StatehoodEdit

Along with the other nine protecotrates of Sekowo and Sekowo proper, Argos became a state of the Commonwealth of Sekowo in 2594. As of March 2875 the Sovereignty of Argos was transfered to the Federation of Zardugal, which later sold it together with Cho'kun and the north of Teoitan to the Eerste Republiek Vanuku with the Treaty of Tropicana of 2879. In 3252, through the Treaty of Nachten, those territories were sold back to Sekowo.
