August Kratzenberg (b. July 16th, 2889) was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greater Hulstria, serving from 2928 to 2970. Kratzenberg prior was the Chief Minister of Budenlar, Greater Hulstria from 2922 to 2928. Kratzenberg additionally sat as a ranking member of the Fascist Authority Party and on the party government, the National Congress, as well during his time at the Foreign Ministry . Born in Luthorische Bai, Budenlar, Kratzenberg was married to Alarice Folsan, a fellow student during his time at the School of Diplomacy & International Affairs in Kien; the two however divorced and didn't have any children.

Kratzenberg originally came into the Foreign Affairs Ministry in 2928 succeeding Arnold Bauer-Chamberlain while still serving as the Chief Minister of Budenlar; he would leave that position to head to Kien, leaving Theresia von Maringhelm to head an interim government before receiving her own term in a special election. Maringhelm would later go onto serve as the 42nd Governor-General of Greater Hulstria and first ever woman leader of the Fascist Authority Party. Kratzenberg would serve at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of His Imperial Majesty's Government for over 40 years; at the time of his departure, Kratzenberg was the most senior member of His Imperial Majesty's Government alongside Gisela von Hortensiengau, the Staatsminister. Kratzenberg has been widely regarded as one of the most active international figures within the Hulstrian government besides the Kaiser during this period; Kratzenberg had overseen every major international event that had faced Hulstria during his tenure from the Destruction of Flight 22 to the Great Sekowian War and the Endralon Civil War, including the formation of the Imperial Consortium between Greater Hulstria and Drania. He had also either written or was involved in every single treaty that had been approved by the Imperial Diet.

The Foreign Minister was widely influential in Greater Hulstria and quite a popular figure. He held weekly audiences with the Kaiser and very close to the Staatsminister in the workings of government. August Kratzenberg was also involved in the world of sports; he contributed towards the effort led by Archduke Leopold of Hulstria, the Kaiser's younger brother and chairman of the Hulstrian Olympic Committee, to have Kien host the 2963 Summer Olympic Games in which they did.
