The Bear's Den (Rodshyan: Медвежья берлога; tr. Medvezh'ya berloga; Hulstrian: Bärenhöhle) is the official royal residence of the Trigunian Monarchy. It is located in the center of the former capital, Heinrichgrad. Locally in Heinrichgrad, the palace is known simply as the "Royal Palace" (Rodshyan: Королевский дворец; tr. Korolevskiy dvorets; Hulstrian: königlicher Palast). Trigunian's refer to Heinrich I as The Great Bear, a reference to the nations national animal. This was picked up on by the Hulstrian's also living there who then began to call the Palace, the Bärenhöhle.
The Bear's Den was designed by architect Theodore von Frostkrone and construction began on February 1st, 2667 and was completed on August 7, 2668. According to historians it was designed in a Radical Nationalism style.
