Born Clémence Guichard in Lerna, Xanduley, capital of Pontesi, the daughter of Étienne Guichard and a French-Pontesian teacher mother. She was sent to an alternative school in Antalmir. She was not the 'popular girl' at school, and describes herself as maladjusted, and 'a bit strange.' Her father gave Poésy her first politic job when she was 25; as her father spokesperson. She has a younger sister, Maëlle.
Career[]
Since leaving Antalmir School, the bilingual and alternative school she attended, at the age of 18, she was admitted into St Hewlett's College, Lerna, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree (first class honours) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. She briefly start pursuing her career as a politician, but returned to Oxford to pursue a Master’s degree in Economics.
Family[]
Clémence married Harry Poésy, a former lawyer and now a lecturer at the Department of Law at Wessex College. She has two daughters and a son, Fleur, James, and Andrea.
Entry into politics[]
Clémence began her political career in 2440 as an Equalise The People's Right Party MP for Lerna. She was reelected to the same seat in 2444. She had served as Equalise The People's Right Party spokesman, Government spokeswoman, Chairman of the House Education Affairs Committee, and Chairman of the National Security Committee.

In 2445, Clémence made a bid for party leadership, taking on a seasoned politician Matthew Roberts. Clémence win.
June 2449 Election[]
On June 2449, Clémence Poésy defeated Robot Nixon in the second rounds of general election with 52.04% votes to Nixon's 47.96 %. She become the fist female Atabeg in the history of Pontesi.
