The Draddwyr people (Cymerian for Dradic people) are an ethnic group originating in Alorian colonization on the Dan Peninsula beginning with the 18th century. Over time, Cymerian, Ultranian, and Sildarian settlers in Dovani acquired a distinct identity from their parent ethnicities and began to call themselves Draddwyr (Dradic people) in reference to their mixed Dradic heritage and in distinction to the native population and to the Dundorfian people that ruled Aloria when it was under the Dundorfian Empire. Following the fall of New Aloria and subsequent conflict over the centuries culminating in the Draddwyr Genocide, most Draddwyr left Dankuk and either returned to Aloria or settled in other Dovanian nations, including Kazulia and Hulstria and Gao-Soto. Today the only significant Draddwyr populations live in Kazulia and North Dovani.
Due to acculturation and forceful assimilation many Penru people adopted the Cymerian language, Cymerian names, and Draddwyr customs and traditions. As a consequence they were sometimes considered Draddwyr.
