The Dranian Armed Forces (Kyo: 단국군; Draniano: Fuerzas Armadas Dranias), were the armed forces of the Third Federation. Originally established as a revolutionary army during the Great Kyo Revolution of 3608, the last formation of the Dranian military was created with the foundation of the Dranian Federation in 4746.
It split into the Red and Black armies during the Civil War.
History[]
The armed forces of Dankuk were first organized under the Kingdom of Dankuk in 3608 as the Dankuk People's Army. Under the Great Kyo Empire, the name was changed to the Imperial People's Army.
Command Structure[]
The Federal Chairman was officially the commander-in-chief of the armed forces but the powers of his role were strictly representative and ceremonial. The Federal Chairman could swear in military officials and served as the chief diplomatic official abroad. The Premier and Minister of
National Defense were in charge of the entire military establishment, maintaining civilian control of the military. The Minister of National Defense took charge of military affairs, and supervised the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the chief of staff of each service branch of the armed forces.
