Dreton is a country which is apart of the Kingdom of Kazulia. It is the only country of Kazulia to share a common border with all other countries. It is bordered by Agatha to the North, Hent to the South-West, Flindar to the West and Kelvon to the South. Dreton forms a part of the Kazulian-Ostlandic border since Ostland sits directly to Dreton's east. The country covers around 23% of the landmass of Kazulia and is the second largest country of the Kingdom of Kazulia after Hent.

The area now called Dreton was first inhabited by modern humans during the Første Folkeslag (First Peoples) period, but takes its name from the Dratons, a Hulstrian tribe deriving its name from the Draton peninsula, who settled during the 5th and 6th centuries. Dreton became a unified state in the 10th century, and since the Age of Unity, has had a significant cultural impact on the wider Dovanian region. The Kazuliansk language, the Kazulian Church, and Kazulian law were developed in Dreton. Kazulia's industrial revolution began in Dreton and was transported to the other countries with varying success, transforming the society into the modern industrialised state it currently is.

Dreton's terrain is chiefly low hills and plains, especially in central and southern Dreton. However, there is upland and mountainous terrain in the north and in the west. The capital is Skalm, which has the largest metropolitan area in both Kazulia and Dovani. Dreton's population of over 17 million comprises 25% of the population of Kazulia, largely concentrated around Skalm and Northern Dreton.
