The Reichstag of Dundorf then voted to establish the agency with a vote of 68-7. The DAS is responsible for the monitoring of Dundorfian air territory, as well as launching satellites into space. The DAS currently owns 149 out of the 296 satellites Dundorf has, both government and privately owned. The headquarters of the DAS is located Albrunn, Gayern (Dunlake), Dundorf. The two launch pads for the DAS are in Karlsborn, Grozvik, and Zirachtisch, Oderveld. The head of the DAS is Dr. Klaus Borozky.

The first major space mission was when a rocket with 3 people inside, 2 males and a female, was launched into terran orbit. The spacecraft orbited the terra world two times, then returning to ground above the ocean near Yingdala. The mission was successful and no one was injured. The DAS was able to gather useful information about space through that mission.
