The 4951 Luthorian parliamentary election was an election held on October 5, 4950 to elect all 150 members of the Imperial Diet of Luthori.
The election took place after two major right-wing to far-right parties were dissolved.
This led to the victory of the centre-right LCP with 21.25% of the vote. Just behind, is the far-right NM with 18.27% of the vote.
The religious and centrist New Luthorian Church grew to almost 15% of the vote.
Empire Forwards!, a right-wing party doubled its number of votes to reach 15%.
This election also revealed the weakness of the left, which lost one seat overall. The LPP stabilised around 15%, while the PCP lost one seat and fell under 5 million votes.
Context[]
Dissolution of two parties[]
The Ord and the Ducal Delegation, two right-wing parties, were dissolved before the election. Ord was dissolved due to internal uproar over its leader Tommy Brewer's attempt to expel a number of backbenchers for their support of the Segregation Act, with many of its members leaving for other parties, while the Ducal Delegation was dissolved for illegal use of public funds. This triggered an early election.
