The New Popular Party (Canrillaise: Nouveau Parti Populaire) was a social democratic and social liberal political party in Rildanor, founded by Didier Trudeau on 3 January 4731. The party "seeks to improve the political, social and economic aspects of Rildanor, seeking efficient solutions to these problems through the free market, population diversity, free use of the media, freedom of expression and the right to vote". In June 4823, the Parti Populaire merged with the Parti Libéral and created this new social democratic/social liberal party. The party dissolved on February 4917. It was the main leftist party in Rildanor from 4731 to 4826, it then became the main ally of the United Left Front of Rildanor from 4826 to 4843, the party once more became the main leftist party in Rildanor from 4844 to 4917.
History[]
Founding[]
On January 4731, the independent politician Didier Trudeau founded the Parti Populaire, based on social democratic ideas. Originally, the Parti Populaire was to participate in the elections organized during the Democratic State of Rildanor, popularly known as Charpentierist Rildanor, however when the last Head of State Government, Françoise de Vries, declared that the monarchy was returning, through a parliamentary democracy took Didier Trudeau by surprise and the party had to adapt to the Rildanor monarchy, Trudeau updated the party's ideas to a social democratic party to promote them in a monarchical parliamentary democracy, de Vries called for parliamentary elections, and since the monarchy had been established, there should be a stable parliament. On April 4, 4734, the party won its first election with Trudeau being appointed President of the Government. Both Trudeau governments were composed by Republicans, however the Republican sentiment inside the party would quickly die after the end of the Third Tymoshenko Government.
First Popular Government (4734-4739)[]
Trudeau was elected as leader of the party in January 4731, therefore, as he was occupying this position, he was elected President of the Government, the first government was installed on April 4, 4734. The Trudeau governmentes were composed by a Republican majority, yet the Royal Bureau (the monarchy's public relations department) blocked all of the bills relating to the establishment of a Republic. Very important figures of the Rildanorian political scene had their beginnings in the Trudeau government, Volodymyr Tymoshenko, who wasPresident of the Government, began his political career with the Trudeau government.
The first years were based on restoring Rildanor's economy and establishing diplomatic relations between allied countries, such as in the case of Kanjor, where a cooperation agreement was signed. Trudeau called for a second election in April 4736, and a third one on April 1, 4739, Trudeau was forced to retire by the Rildanorian Monarchy as President of the Government following the election. Volodymyr Tymoshenko, a member of Trudeau's inner republican circle and a trusted member of his government, was elected as the new party leader and President of the Government.
Tymoshenko Years (4739-4751)[]
Volodymyr Tymoshenko, as a result of the forced resignation of Didier Trudeau, was elected as party leader days after the election, winning with a landslide victory, he was one of Trudeau's most trusted cabinet members. He was sworn in as President of the Government on April 14, 4739. During Tymoshenko's time as President of the Government, more laws have been established that have effectively improved civil rights, free market, freedom of speech, right to vote, public health, among other laws that have led Rildanor to a massive development in technological, social, economic and political aspects.
During the Tymoshenko government, different treaties and agreements have been signed, among them the Rildanor Official Treaty on Cooperation and Diplomacy, which improved relations with the nations that signed the agreement, establishing embassies and cultural associations in them.
Tymoshenko is the longest serving and most popular President of the Government in the history of the United Kingdom of Rildanor.
Tymoshenko ended his term on April 16, 4757.

National Popular Convention[]
The National Popular Convention, was the biannual convention of the Popular Party, where the primary elections are discussed and planned, information is given on the national advances made by the party and talks are given on different cultural, scientific, political and social issues with national and international exponents.
A city was chosen to be the host of this biannual event. The last city to host the event was Tiralle. The only time the event has held provincewide was in the year 4736 when the event was held at the Royal Province of Tiralouse. In 4792 during the Annual Session of the Party Board, a declaration was put forward by the Board, citing that the event, although it had massive attendance by party supporters, was very difficult to maintain and raise funds for the event, which is why the Party Board decided to suspend the event until a decision was made to whether continue or outright cancel the event. In June 4794, it was decided that the convention would be cancelled.
