Fratelli d'Istalia (Brothers of Istaly) is the national hymn of the Repubblica Istaliana. It was composed by Emanuele Terenzi during the Quanzar oppression and used by partisans as hymn of the Resistance. The first two strophes were adopted by the Repubblica Quanzariana, the entire hymn by the Repubblica Istaliana.
(Istalian) «Fratelli d'Istalia
(Luthori) «Brothers of Istaly,
Istaly has awakened, with Scipio's helmet She has bound her head. Where is Victory? Let her bow down, for God has made her Romula's slave. Let us join in cohort, we are ready to die! Istaly has called! We have been for centuries Let us unite and love one another; mercenary swords: the Quanzari Arab has already lost his wiskes. The blood of Istaly, the blood so sacred, he drank fast but it burned her heart. Let us join in cohort, we are ready to die! Istaly has called!» |
