George Huws was born in Mynydd Mawr, Dranland to Welsh-Dranian parents in 2385. He became the leader of the Refuge Pressure Party, but failed to win any power in Gishoto
Huws' parents were senior officials of Plaid Gyfreithiol Cymru. When the Dranian government launched Operation Ethnic Cleanse in 2311 Huws' father was killed by the unexpected bombs. Huws and his mother fled to the refugee camps of Gishoto.
First Taste of Politics[]
When Wali Thomas and Arthur Picton, two friends of Huws' father, set up the Refuge Pressure Party Huws was asked to be on the front bench.
Two months later the RPP stormed into power and Huws found himself deciding on the Economic policies of a country he had known for four barely five years.
Once the RPP were relegated to the opposition benches Huws was a constant critict of Wali Thomas, accusing him of lacking leadership during the GishotoDranland cold war. While Thomas was advocating peace, Huws demanded war.
Party Leader[]
When Thomas resigned due to old age Huws was elected leader. While he didn't manage to improve his party's standing, it did not increase dramatically. Many observes believed that he struggled to steo out of the shadow of his famous predeccessor.

In 2340 Huws stepped aside as party leader, allowing the 22 year old Katherine Jenkins to suceed him as RPP President. He has also announced that he will not stand in the next election.
