Harakat Moudjtamaa As-Silm (French: Mouvement de la Société Pour la Paix) is a political party in the nation of Rildanor. It was founded in October 2618 by members of Rildanor's Muslim majority, most of whom are descended from immigrants from Majatra. As an abbreviation, it is most appropriate to refer to the party as the MSPP, (coming from the French) but the party name can also be shortened and read as "Hamas".
Foundations[]
As winter again descended upon Rildanor, the disenfranchised Muslims of the vastly French nation once again found themselves without adequate representation in government. It was in late October that a young man named Mahfoud decided to finally establish a party that could represent his community. The central focus of the party and its name would be peace- a seemingly coincidental allusion to the Parti Pour Paix et Progress, a historic Kanjoran party that had been reestablished in Alduria but was in fact dissolved there that same October. The members of MSPP immediately went about establishing the tenets of their party and proposing new directions for their nation.

In November 2618, The MSPP made ten proposals, all of which it put straight to vote. All challenged rampant oppression and discrimination in Rildanor. Many dealt with problems specific to the Muslim community, but others sought to alleviate discrimination against women and gays and help Rildanor as a whole. This was the MSPP's bold first charge into Rildanorian politics, and it hoped that the issues it addressed would be able to attract non-Muslims as well as their own community members to the party come their first election.
