Pro CCP Mural Depicting Haruhi Suzumiya

Haruhi Suzumiya (born 12th of March 2246 - Died 7th October 2309) was Party Chair of the Christian Communist Party of Gishoto. She served as Comrade Premier of the country from February 2275 - February 2280 and from March 2300 - September 2302. Haruhi Co-Founded the CCP in 2270.

Personal[]

Haruhi Suzumiya is a native Gishotoi born during the first Communist Revolution to Lawyer Hideaki Suzumiya and his wife Kasumi. Her parents were fanatic Lutherans, unusual for Gishotoi and raised Haruhi as such. She obtained a masters degree in law from the People's University of Kien and along with fellow Kien graduate Tiberius Gracchus founded the Christian Communist Party the next year.

She was married to Dr Joshu Meyer of the University Hospital Kien but used her Maiden name in public to avoid confusion about her identity. She had two children, her first son Koichi Meyer (born June 2273) and a daughter Tsukiyama Meyer (born March 2280) and another son Hisaki Meyer (born September 2283).

She died suddenly an tragically at the age of 63 in 2309 after being thrown from a horse she was riding. Her death led to infighting and a rapid collapse of the CCP signalling the end of the Communist era in Gishoto.

Political Career[]

Following the CCPs' founding Haruhi became very much the public face of the party appearing on many posters and giving speeches to crowds of supporters from the pulpits of the supposedly illegal Lutheran Churches around the country. After the CCP's first election in which Tiberius ran a succesful campaign for Comrade Premier, Haruhi served as Vice premier. After that she took over from Tiberius as Comrade Premier and Leader of the Party.

Haruhi has made a name for herself on the international scene by her heavy involvement in gaining greater support for the Rildanor Communists and her actions in brining the conflict to a peacful conclusion. She led the party to hold an absolute majority in the Supreme Soviet but in recent years has been somewhat sidelined by the party's bad election results though she amazed the public by her intesive campaiging to be relected in 2280 despite being 8 months pregnant.
