The city of Heinrichgrad (Rodshya: Genrihgrad) also known commonly by anti-monarchist and communist as Pavlovsk was the former capital of the numerous Trigunian Empires. The city serves as a hotbed of both extreme political ideologies, commonly seeing pro-monarchy and anti-monarchist elected to the city council. It ranks as the second largest city in Trigunia behind the capital Rodshyadam and ahead of Petrovgrad.
Heinrichgrad continues to maintain itself as an important political, cultural, and economic center of Trigunia as remains the home to several important institutions; including numerous universities, museums, and governmental offices. Heinrichgrad was also home to the Trigunian imperial family, including their residence at the Bear's Den. Today, the imperial family no longer reigns over Trigunia but it still owns and maintains the residences. It is still one of the largest cities in terms of population. Heinrichgrad is also known for its impressive government plaza that includes a massive cathedral that has become a symbol of Trigunian power the northern hemisphere. Heinrichgrad is named after Heinrich I of Trigunia.
