History[]

Ir Shalom's name means, "in Peace". Ir Shalom was a very important trading post for jewish people, because of a gold mine near by. But soon the mine ran out so the people migrated out of the city. Soon after social outcast from Jewish towns and cities Christians migrated to Ir Shalom. Then after about 50 years the messianic Jews came as well. They also brought the new finding of oil and silicone. Soon the city grew to a Metropolis of technology and oil riches. These Christians were heavily protected by the Jewish Government and the CZP.

Demographics[]

It has a 49% Christian/Gentile percentage. While there is a 49% Jewish Percentage and a 1% Other. Gentiles hold a very small majority of the city. The 2 party that this city wins is the CZP.

Media[]

It is home to the HQ of Disney, News Corp., and Schoolhouse Rock. But also the citizens all have Gods Given TV, a CZP run digital cable provider.

It is home to the Largest Christian and Secular Universities in Terra.

Ir Shalom is home to 20 Elementary schools, 9 Middle Schools and 25 High Schools.

Four charter schools using alternative teaching methods also operate in Ir Shalom.

The largest private Christian higher learning establishment in Ir Shalom, it has an annual attendance rate of 50,000 students. It is an international leader in informational technology research and development along with law and Sciences. It ranks in the Top 4 schools in the world.

Beiteynu Jeudo-Christian Institute[]

An institute and university based primarily on political science, economics and international relations, and theology. The institute employs several highly respected political scientists, and is often asked by Beiteynu Parties for opinions on international topics, especially relating to Inter-Beiteynuese relations.

Ir Shalom is run by a mayoral council, consisting of 18 seats and a chairman, directly voted on by the people every five years in each district of the City.

The council is elected based on party, The current council consists of Job Christman (CZP) Chairman, 4 seats from HaLeumit Tikvah and 3 from Ma'avak.

Political Headquarters[]

The City is home to the new Christian Zionist Congress and Ziontern (Zionists International) meeting building, it is located in the Northern-Western half of the city, just outside the University district. Also it is home of the non-affiliated Christians for Ma'avak.
