Mantı

Jakanian mantı being prepared

Jakanian cuisine is influenced heavily by Jakania's position as a meeting point of various cultures throughout Majatra. Sharing elements with Jelbek, Deltarian, Majatran, Kalopian and Augustan cuisine, the country's cuisine developed particularly during the era of the Great Empire of Turjak.

Within Jakania, there is significant variation in terms of cuisine too. In the eastern parts of the country, olive oil is a dominant part of cooking and this is shared with much of the culinary tradition in Istalia and Kalopia. In the country's northern and western, mantı is an example of a food that can be found in the cuisine of countries as distant as Dankuk and Yingdala.
