Kathurans (Kathuran: ܟܬ݁ܘܪܝܝܐ Kaṯūrāyē) are a native people of Barmenia, living primarily in the provinces of Arakhim and Kathuristan. Kathurans are a Qedarite people, who arrived in Majatra as part of the Qedarite Migrations and in time differentiated themselves from other Qedarite peoples. During the Middle Ages Kathurans created the Kingdom of Arakhim, which gained a central role in Kathuran national identity. Most Kathurans belong to the Barmenian Apostolic Church.
