The Knesset  (Yeudish: הַכְּנֶסֶת‎, tr. HaKnesset) is the unicameral legislative parliament of Beiteynu. Knesset is composed of 75 members (MKs) elected every three years through party open list proportional representation.

Powers[]

The Knesset has full control of government, while also electing it, advising cabinet about desicions. Still, Knesset have the powers to appoint or remove cabinet members separately through a motion/vote of no confidence.

To elect a cabinet, any party needs majority of seats, which equals 34 in Knesset. If no party have majority, parliament enters formation period. Both Prime Minister and Speaker advise party leaders on coalition formation, therefore any party can propose and form a cabinet. When formation is ended, the Prime Minister gives Speaker an approval to start a extraordinary cabinet formation session, which will last 3-10 hours.
