The Luthorian language is the language spoken by the Luthorian people as well as millions of other people across Terra.
Dialects and varieties[]
Luthori[]
In Luthori, there is significant diversity in terms of spoken language and accents. Numerous specific dialects are spoken across the country. Historically the most prominent variety of Luthorian among the elite was Orange Luthorian, spoken especially in Fort William. Richie is a distinct accent associated with the city of Richbrough in Northriding that has similarities with the broader form of Luthorian spoken across the duchy.
When referred to generally, the variety of Luthorian spoken in Luthori is called "Metropolitan Luthorian" or "Artanian Luthorian". In written and spoken language, it is most similar to the language spoken in Beluzia and Rutania. Significant differences exist compared to North Seleyan Luthorian.
Kalistan[]
Kalistani Luthorian is a group of varieties of Luthorian spoken in Kalistan. Various dialects are spoken in different parts of the country but they are all completely mutually intelligble. The dominany and standard dialect of the language is known as Vrassan. The term is often used interchangeably with the term Kalistani Luthorian.
In comparison to other dialects, Kalistani Luthorian is most similar to the other varieties of Luthorian spoken in North Seleya. Alongside Baltusian Luthorian, Likatonian Luthorian and Lodamese Luthorian, the languages are sometimes known as North Seleyan Luthorian. Compared to these other dialects, Kalistani Luthorian has received greater influence from Egelian.
