All the Emperors of the three Istalian Empires have belonged to the House of Appiano De Borromei.

Descending directly from Tommaso II, last Emperor of the First Empire, as head of the House of Appiano De Borromei he was chosen as Emperor when the Empire was restored for the first time in 5074. His reign, however, lasted for just 6 years: in 5080 the sizing of power by part of far-leftist and anti-istalian parties abolished the monarchy and the restored united Istalian nation. |
