The National Intelligence Agency (val.: Narodowa Agencja Wywiadu, abbreviated to NAW) is an intelligence agency operating in the Republic of Valruzia, tasked with the gathering of public and secret information and analyzing them, as well as combating the external threats posing danger for the security and safety of the interests of the Republic. As part of Valruzia's institutional hierarchy it is directly subordinate to the Prime Minister of Valruzia who appoint special minister in order to coordinate the work of the NAW.
It operates closely with the Internal Security & Counterintelligence Bureau as well as the Valruzian Police as the NAW has no law enforcement function and relies on the cooperation with other law enforcement agencies.
The NAW is headquartered in Nowogard - the Valruzian capital.
