Nave [Nah-ah-v] is a religion that is deeply entrenched in Likatonian Vienibism. Prominent through all of Likatonia, the Nave religion is known for its obsession with death and the end of life.
History[]
The Nave religion feeds off old stories that were passed down orally for generations. Millenia ago, it was turned into a paper written version known as Mirscanas Aplieciba, which contains all the stories of Navajasco, or Death. There are ten stories, and members of the Nave religion must have them memorized by the age of 10.
Practices[]
The Nave religion follows many practices. These are known as Pienakumi's and are mandatory for all Navists to complete each month. Failure to do so will cause Navajasco to visit your family and take a life (as described in the Tale of Harav). The following are the practices:
- Atlaidet Pienakumi: the head of the house must kill an animal and eat its feet, where the spirit is released to Navajasco.
- Esana Pienakumi: nobody in the house may eat for two full days.
- Galigs Pienakumi: one member from each house must leave and spend 2 days in the forest of Navajasco.
