Nico Burret

His Majesty Nico Burret, King of Rildanor, is the country's head of state. He ascended to the throne in November 2298 at the age of 5 after the assassination of Queen Arun Bodo. The late Queen's tragic death occurred on the same day as the country's general election.

The King is also currently the Premier and head of the government after the long-serving Premier Francis Saint-James retired in December 2321 due to ill-health. The Parti Royalist Conservateur invited the young King to govern until a replacement could be found, expected after the next general election in April 2323. Due to the disunity and lack of interest of the opposition, the King was allowed to govern again until a replacement could be agreed upon after the Rildanor general elections, 2326.
