The Alþingi (meaning Parliament, or Althing in Luthori) is the unicameral parliament of Telamon. The Althing was founded in 1267 at Þingvellir ("thing fields" or "assembly fields"), a small village, Grænnhöfn, which later became the country’s capital. Although the Althing has existed in various formats throughout its history, it has always been used to represent the democratic traditions of Telamon. The present parliament building, the Alþingishús, was built in 1987 and is made of traditional Telamon stone.[5] The unicameral parliament has 63 members, and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation.

There are currently 89 seats in the Althing, although this is expected to increase to 139 for the 4727 election. Seats are allocated by proportional representation based on the five states of Telamon. Following the most recent election in 4721, National Renewal is the largest party represented in the Althing.
