Peter L. Marshall (2902-) is the Queen's Regent of Barmenia since the special election of August 2952. He is also the chairman of the Libertarian Catholic Party and before that the Chairman of the Freedom Party. He is the most powerful man in Barmenia commanding the executive branch, most of the cabinet, and all Grand Assembly seats.

Opposition Leader 2949-2952[]

Peter L. Marshall began his political career as the opposition leader to the one party rule of the Conservative Democrats in 2949. Despite his Libertarian opposition to right-wing Conservative Democrats, the two parties were able to cooperate on many issues including foreign affairs and the creation of the Barmenian Monarchy. Despite having no seats in the Grand Assembly, Marshall was able to introduce a new Monarchy, the creation of Governors, establishment of a Supreme Court, a reformation of the Military, and conducted foreign affairs concerning the Selucian-Al-Badara conflict. Unlike many other nations, both parties in Barmenia worked together to reform the nation from the apathy and neglect of past leaderships.

Queen's Regent 2952-Present[]

Marshall became the Queen's Regent effectively giving him full control of the executive branch in the special election of August 2952. The Conservative Democrats were losing in polls so they formed a grand coalition with the LCP shortly after calling for new elections. As a result, many CDP officials are still present in the cabinet. The LCP still has opposition parties with 0 seats, namely the Consumer Union, the Barmenian Civic Party, and the Grm Wrzy Kaliifà.
