The House of Bavoria was restored in 2988 and Philip II became the monarch under the United Archduchy of Vorona; before the restoration, Philip II lived in exile in Greater Hulstria but returned to Vorona when news of restoration arrived. Philip II would reign as Archduke until 3007 when a socialist republic was created. Philip would continue to serve as pretender to the throne until his death. As a descendant of Klaus Gustav IV of Hulstria, Philip was in line of succession to the Hulstrian throne.
