The Progressive Alliance (PA) was a left-wing progressive movement and political party in Likatonia. It was founded in 4886 by Patrick Andersen, a mathematician and software developer formerly associated with the SWP who eventually became the 1st leftist Chancellor of Likatonia.
The party was mainly a democratic socialist force, but it also included people of different ideological backgrounds that belong to the left. It was branded as a radical left alliance that seeks to unite all progressive people of Likatonia.
The PA remained in government for most of its existence, leading many progressive cabinets that transformed Likatonia to a more equal, free and democratic society. The party was eventually disbanded after the 4916 general elections, when the PA lost to the Conservative Labour Party with more than 20% of the vote. The party was later rebranded as the Popular Unity.
