The Reformed Hosian Church is a Hosian Charismic church founded by John Benton in 4736. From its foundation the Church has received criticism from conventional Hosian leaders and other international figures. Since the 4740s, the Church has attempted to moderate its image and tension has subsided.
In the thirty years since the Church was founded, it has fed around two million Likatonian people through the Grace Project, which expanded to other countries including Malivia from 4763. In 4762, the Likatonian Census Bureau reported that around 1,360,000 people stated their adherence to the Church.
Leadership[edit | edit source]
The leader of the Church is commonly referred to as the Lead Reformed Hosian. The position is an honorary one with no formal power and is elected by members of the Church through twenty-five delegates (five from each province with a significant Church presence). Nonetheless the leader is a respected and trusted spiritual leader to whom pastors and missionaries can write when they require practical or spiritual guidance. The position was made in 4760 when the RHC met for the purpose of discussing a leader of the church. After the election of 4766 they decided that a three consecutive term limit must be set.
