Fronte Repubblicano (Luthorian: Rrepublican Front; Rep.) was a political alliance formed in Istalia by the Renacentist Front and the Left Bloc to contest the Istalian elections.
The alliance was founded in January 4653 with the main purpose of bringing together under one alliance all progressive parties that are in favor of restoring the Republic in Istalia.
The party programme is still to be known, but an integration of the closest measures of all the members that make it up is expected, in addition to the main motivation of proposing a constitutional change that allow them to depose the Emperor of Istalia.
The alliance was expected to be joined by Truth and Freedom, although it was not possible because the party was dissolved a few months later. The alliance has the notable absence of the socialdemocratic party Socialist & Democrats which has always sided with the monarchist side in successive parliamentary proposals.
Despite its success, the political alliance was disbanded in 4680 after the Resurgent Front announced its own dissolution in 4679 without further clarification, and the Left Bloc officially announced the end of the electoral platform the next year.
History[]
Formation[]
The alliance was created after talks between the leader of the Renacentist Front, Santino Bellandini, and the General Secretary of the Left Bloc, Priamo Zanone, with the hope of joining forces in a common front that allows the restoration of the Republic in the shortest possible time, while promoting social republicanism.
4654 and 4658 elections[]
Although the coalition did not manage to become the first force in the National Assembly after the 4654 elections, it became the second one with only a few months after its creation, rising the expectations of its two members for the next elections. In the 4658 elections, the Republican Front became the first force in the National Assembly with more than 1/3 of the popular vote, and gaining the governorship of two regions. The coalition subsequently successfully negotiated a coalition government with the socialdemocrats to remove the right from power.

Party leadership[]
The alliance leadership is not clear yet, although the leaders of each of the parties that make it up are expected to be named as "co-leaders" of the alliance, to put them all at the same level and avoid friction. For the regional elections, the alliance establishes that the most voted party within the alliance is the head of the regional executive.
