Ricardo Morago was born in 2372 in Ciudad Darkuth, and spent most of his life in Davostag's capital. It was there he went to university and studied economics but dropped out part way through his final year after a serious falling out with staff. At this point he moved to Kivonah Estado Federado and began work as a farm labourer.
Throughout his early years he had remained apolitical but his time working on farms and his understanding of economics led to his support of a strongly regulated socialist-style system. After a number of years of low-level support for the Partido Laborista Socialista he met a young anarchist, Diaz Garcia, who worked at a nearby communal farm. At first the two seemed to share no common ground: Ricardo Morago advocated a large government which controlled nearly all aspects of business while Diaz Garcia sought an end to all government. However after meeting Diego Zanon at a political rally in 2416 Morago's views changed to supporting that of a small government and he assisted in the founding of Trabajo y Libertad.
As of 2419 Ricardo Morago is Davostan's Finance Minister.
