Rivka bat Yehuda (born June 2323) is the current prime minister of Barmenistan and leader of the Just Freedom Party of the Barmenian People (BRLP).
Background[]
Rivka bat Yehuda was born June 2323 in Barn City. Her father, Yehuda ben Yitzhak, was a clothing shop assistent and her mother, Yehudit bat Moishe, was a butcher .
After graduating from secondary school in 2340, she attended the University of Kathura from which she received her BA in 2344, MA in 2345, and Ph.D. in 2349.
Academic career[]
From 2345 to 2350 Yehuda worked as a lecturer at the History Department of the University of Kathura.
Political career[]
Yehuda began her political career when in 2339 she joined the BRLP. In May 2346 she became the party's candidate for the office of interior minister, an office to which she was appointed when in June 2350 the BRLP formed its first government.
As an outspoken supporter of Dr. Leon Müller's leadership of the party following the parliamentary election defeat of September 2353 she was rewarded with increasing power, most notably the formation of the Antiterrorism Department in November 2356 under the jurisdiction of the interior ministry. From then on she was generally expected to succeed Dr. Müller as leader of the BRLP.
She was the primary architect of the September 2365 reorganisation of the Armed Forces of Barmenistan which facilitated the creation of the Gendarmerie under the jurisdiction of the interior ministry, and in November 2368 she assumed leadership of the BRLP following its disastrous parliamentary election defeat two months prior.
In July 2369 she was replaced as interior minister when the Lofrkadé Knstaték Jajogad formed a new cabinet.
Prime Minister[]
Dr. bat Yehuda became Prime Minister in August 2382 when she finally acceded to demands to form a BRLP cabinet due to the dissolvement of the Krsyiji Mrjogadé Prta (formerly the Lofrkadé Knstaték Jajogad) more than two years earlier.
