History[]
The party was founded in 4637. Matthijs Niemeijer the party's leader and Kaatje Flierhuis the party's chair.
The party participated in the 4638 general election, getting 0 seats in the Bundestag. In the 4639 general election the party won a suprising 47 seats and supported the grand coalition between the BDU and PAP.
After the 4644 general election, the party participated in a grand coalition to stop separatist and anti-democratic parties from gaining power
Ideology[]
Economically, the SLP is in favour of a market economy combined with state interventions.
Socially, the party is liberal, in favour of same-sex marriage, abortion, legalizing cannabis and strengthening women's right.
