Elections in Kirlawa

Seasamh Clé (Luthorian: Standing Left), abbreviated as SeaC and previously known as The Comhtogra-Joint Proposal, is a left-wing party founded in August 4691 in Kirlawa by Callum Felan, a university professor.

The party advocates the separation between religion and the State, the defense of public services and labor rights, a redistributive economy and the establishment of a social republic, as well as a greater involvement of citizens in political decision making through referendums.

Political ideologyEdit

The main aim of the party is to defend the interests of the working classes against abusive policies. The party also campaigns for a devolution of statal powers to regional governments under the argument of better management because of the knowledge of the territories and its people.

Of progressist nature, the party clearly speaks against religions and supports LGBT rights and feminism, as well as noting the neccesity of creating a social republic (with the ultimate elimination of social classes) and the need to protect the environment for future generations.

HistoryEdit

Callum Felan, a university professor of engineering, took a step forward to create the party after various conservative governments in a parliament where the left seemed to have disappeared.

When it gained power in 4705, the party introduced deep reforms in the political system of the nation: the Law on the Supreme Court, the Law on the Taoiseach of the Republic (which turned the nation into a Presidential republic), the Law on the Parliamentary Change, the Law on the Head of the Council and Leader of the Opposition, the Law on the Appointment of Regional Governors, and the National Flag Change. After these constitutional changes, the party received the unanimous acclaim from the citizens by getting more than 50 million votes in the following elections.

In January 4715, the party officially changed its name to Seasamh Clé, as they clarified that with different political parties in the nation, they no longer represent a "Joint Proposal" for everyone.

Party organizationEdit

The party has one General Secretary, elected by the militants in a general election. The main legislative organ is the Federal Committee, composed by 26 members, 5 representatives from each province plus the Secretary. The Federal Committe advises the Secretary and decide whatever happens internally in the party.
