The Black Sun is a Nationalist and Neo-Fascist party. The party was founded by Frank Bochette, a right-wing activist and nationalist philosopher who was upset with the centre-right Moore I cabinet in April 4946. The party economically deviates from the classical view of the nationalist economy and wants to introduce a light touch of capitalism as a balance in the form of a Third Way.
After the 4946 Likatonian general election, the party won 32 seats to become the second largest party and became the largst party on the right.
After the 4949 Likatonian general election the party lost 19 seats. In March 4650 the party split inside into two factions. "Blacks" (still believing in conservatism and nationalism), still led by party leader Frank Bochette, and "Emeralds" (who are an intra-party faction which believes in ultra-conservatism, technological progress and define themselves as radical neo-Fascists) controlled by Jacob deFranco. Since then, the party on the political compass, it shifts even further to the right. The situation in the party seems friendly at the moment and both factions do not compete with each other in any way, but rather work together.
However after the 4952 Likatonian general election the party gained 29 seats to have a total of 42 seats and became the largest party but all of the left wing parties united to form the Hudson I cabinet, keeping the TBS out of power.
