The Third World, also known as the former colonial territories and previously simply the colonies, are a group of nations in the eastern hemisphere which are generally grouped together due to their similar levels of development and the fact that most were colonised by other Terran nations.
In spite of their history, all former colonial nations are now independent of their former colonisers.
