The United Imperial Crownlands of Hulstria and Gao-Soto (Hulstrian: Vereinte Kaiserliche Kronländer Hulsterreich und Gao-Sotos, Hulstro-Mikun: Barento Kaisāritchi Kuronrendā Harusotoriasu undo Mikunisu, Kunikata: ホルソトラリア＝御國帝冠領 Horusotoraria=Mikuni Tei Kanryou) is the name given to the rival Septembrist government of Hulstria and Gao-Soto proclaimed by the 15th of September Movement in opposition to the Imperial Crownlands of Hulstria as ruled by the Hulstrian Party regime. Taking the attempt by Reichskanzler Leopold Nimitz to dissolve the Reichstag as a cue, the Septembrists called representatives of various self-governing local areas known as cantons to assemble at an undisclosed location in Crownland Hulstria (rechristened "Handenberg" by the regime), where they proclaimed the new provisional government, claiming to be the restoration of the Septembrist government of Hulstria and Gao-Soto of the same name. The United Imperial Crownlands were under the protection of the Reichsbürgerwehr militia, which procured arms siphoned from the Reichsheer armed forces of the regime with the help of dissident party member and NKHP leader Theophilus von Geraniengau, who defected from the regime to the Septembrist cause.
The Septembrists immediately started lobbying the World Congress for recognition as the sole legitimate government of Hulstria and Gao-Soto and support against the regime, which launched a military operation to crack down on the rival government shortly after it was proclaimed. Drania became the first state to officially recognise the United Imperial Crownlands. After a meeting with Viscount Fukuyama, Aloria also recognised the Crownlands.
