The Senaat is the role-played upper house of Vanuku.
Members[]
The number of members of the Senaat depends on the results of the general elections. There are 75 seats for general distribution, with 15 members allocated to each Staat. In the case that the opposition is allocated less than five seats in the Senaat, seats are added until the opposition have five seats, meaning there are a maximum of 80 Senaat members and a minimum of 75.
Relationship With Executive[]
The executive does not need the confidence of the Senaat to form government. The role of the Senaat is to offer another chamber to review legislation and roleplay.
