The Voronan Church (Akigan: Foronisc Cirice), also known as the Church of Vorona or the Church of Deltaria Nova, is the major denomination of Hosianism in Vorona. Originally founded in 3010 as the Nova-Deltarian Church, a merger of Ȝelēaflic (Patriarchal) and Luþorisc (Luthoran) churches in order to remove the religious divide within the Akigans, the Church was renamed as the Voronan Church by the Brothers of Revenge regime, in response to Deltarian imperialism. In 3765, the Church was made the official and mandatory religion for all Voronans with the Great Edict. Following the repeal of the Magna Edictum in 3773, the membership of the Church dropped to 15.9 million, or 56% of the Voronan population.
